ইসরায়েল রাষ্ট্রের জন্মটায় হলো অবৈধ। জোর করে অন্যের দেশ ও জায়গা দখল করে এই দেশটির জন্ম হয়েছিল। আর এতে চারটি দেশের প্ররোচনা এবং সরাসরি রাষ্ট্রীয় সাহায্য ছিল। তারা হল যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, রাশিয়া, গ্রেট বৃটেন ও ফ্রান্স। তাদের ইচ্ছা ও প্রয়োজনে মূলত এই বিষফোঁড়ার জন্ম হয়েছিল।

বাংলাদেশের রাজনীতিতে বিএনপি কি মুসলিম লীগের পরিণতি বরণ করবে?

বাংলাদেশের ডিসেম্বর-নির্বাচনে আওয়ামী লীগ তথা মহাজোটের বিশাল বিজয় এবং বিএনপি তথা চারদলীয় জোটের শোচনীয় পরাজয় এক কথায় অবিশ্বাস্য এবং অভাবিতপূর্ব। বাংলাদেশের রাজনীতির যারা নিবিষ্ট পর্যবেক্ষক, তারাও ধারণা করেছিলেন, সুষ্ঠু ও অবাধ নির্বাচন হলে আওয়ামী লীগ হয়তো সরকার গঠনের মতো সামান্য মেজরিটি নিয়ে জিতবে।
